Voteing

I've often said that thinking about putting things on computers helps people think about something even without building it.

I heard a radio program a few years ago with one guy saying 'why don't we have computer screens to vote with'. The answer was 'ah well how would you spoil your vote?'.

Infact this was just a way of saying people need a method to 'vote' without voting for a candidate.

My proposal is that there should be a 'non of the above' tick on all vote ballots ( paper or otherwise). The reason for this is that if non of the candidates is any good ( or its a stitch up with only one candidate to vote for). Then the public can 'request' that alternative candidates are sort. At this point a new election is organized non of the previous candidates or possibly parties are permitted to enter.

This way politicians can tell the difference between dissatisfaction of all parties and general apathy and plain clumsyness.
